If delivery fails because of customer-provided information or delivery circumstances, the package may be returned to the warehouse.
This may happen because of an incorrect or incomplete address, a missed delivery appointment, or because the carrier could not reach the recipient.
There is no fixed deadline for reporting this type of case, but you should contact Arborlen as soon as you notice that the parcel has been returned.
After the parcel comes back, we can usually help you choose between:
- reshipment to a corrected address
- a refund after the returned goods are received and inspected
Please note the following:
- returned parcels can be stored at the warehouse free of charge for up to 14 days
- after the free storage period, additional storage fees may apply based on package volume
- if the goods are not reshipped or handled within 30 days after notification, they may be treated as abandoned and disposed of without refund
- for larger items that require a delivery appointment, the first missed appointment or first address-error redelivery may be charged at up to 20% of the original order total
- a second or later redelivery may be charged based on the actual cost incurred
In this kind of case, the customer may be responsible for redelivery, reshipment, or storage fees.
